Consultation description

This consultation seeks views on the consequential amendments necessary to the Scheme following the changes introduced at part 8 of the Local Democracy Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 (the 2009 Act) to amend the 1996 Act; proposals put forward by the Construction Umbrella Bodies Adjudication Task Group (CUBATG) to improve the effectiveness of the Scheme.

It follows the public consultations of 2005 and 2007 on proposals drawn from Sir Michael Latham’s report looking at the operation of Part 2 of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (the 1996 Act).
