How we do more than drive better regulation delivery
We're doing our bit for the Big Society
An organisation is its people, and BRDO recognises that its staff contribute a huge amount to our society beyond their activities on behalf of better regulation delivery during office hours.
As part of our commitment to the Big Society vision, we are getting involved in good causes.
In 2011-2012 LBRO colleagues wanted to use their skills as a team to support Epilepsy Action (Registered charity in England 234343) to raise both funds and awareness of its work. We raised around £1,000 through activities such as office picnics, a pub quiz, a sponsored walk, raffles and even egg sales!
The decision as to which charities BRDO supports will be reviewed each year - our efforts are always in our own time and at no cost to the state.
