Who we are
BRDO was created on 1 April 2012 as an independent unit within the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. We draw from the expertise, experience and previous activity of the Local Better Regulation Office, a non-departmental public body dissolved in March 2012. We are guided by the Representative Steering Group (RSG). We operate across the United Kingdom from our base in central Birmingham.
