Welsh Regulators' Forum

The Welsh Regulators’ Forum is a senior-level group of national and local regulators in Wales with a shared interest in, and commitment to, supporting appropriate regulation of businesses in Wales whilst protecting the interests of citizens. It does this through tackling unnecessary regulation of businesses and promoting public service improvement.

The Forum is jointly sponsored by the BRDO and the Welsh Government and provides:

  • An opportunity to share information, good practice and lessons learned on approaches to regulation between members.
  • A source of advice and information on development, delivery and enforcement of regulation to inform decision-making and strategic direction at both Wales- and UK-levels. It can commission project work and canvass citizen and business views to underpin this advice.
