Background
The CST wrote a letter on 20 May to Sir John O'Reilly, DG of Knowledge and Innovation Group at BIS, the letter highlighted strategic priorities for science and research funding. The letter follows a request from Sir John to the CST for views in this area which would feed into the spending review.
