CST has published a report "A national infrastructure for the 21st century" (PDF, 1.9 Mb) .
CST examined the core sectors of national infrastructure, (energy, water, transport and communications) and made recommendations to Government on specific, high level interventions needed to ensure a modern, integrated and resilient national infrastructure.

CST has published a report "Improving innovation in the water sector: 21st century challenges and opportunities" (PDF, 2.6 Mb) .
CST investigated the need for the water industry to invest in new technologies and innovative solutions to meet the challenges of the 21st Century.

CST Co-chair, Professor Dame Janet Finch, appeared before the House of Commons Innovation, Universities, Science and Skills Committee to give evidence for the inquiry on 'Putting science and engineering at the heart of public policy making'. A transcript of the hearing will appear on the parliament website.
