Firework safety leaflets and materials are available from the fireworks section of our publications site.
Please note - the following material suggests that only fireworks marked with British Standard BS7114 are safe. Following the introduction of new pyrotechnic legislation in 2010 (The Pyrotechnic Articles (Safety) Regulations 2010 SI2010/1554) fireworks may instead carry a CE marking to show that they are safe and conform to European safety standards. Please check that your firework carries either the BS7114 marking or the CE marking.
