Climate change: international dimensions

Foresight project looking at how the UK is likely to be affected by global climate change over the next 30 years and beyond.

Climate change impacts from abroad could affect the UK as much as climate change at home. This project investigated the risks to the UK from climate change impacts in other parts of the world up to 2030 and beyond.

The project was guided by a lead group of experts and involved over 100 experts and policymakers from across academia, government, think tanks and the private sector.

Nine peer-reviewed reports and 7 discussion papers were commissioned to inform the analysis.

The project was jointly funded by the Government Office for Science, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC).
