Freedom of Information Publication Scheme
This is The Insolvency Service’s Publication Scheme under section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Our Scheme conforms to the model prescribed by The Information Commissioner’s Office. Background information about Publications Schemes can be found on the Commissioner’s website.
Classes of information in our Publication Scheme are shown in the menu on the left. Searching the Scheme by class will provide a list of all the items currently published within that class.

The Insolvency Service makes all information published under our Publication Scheme available free of charge via our website.
Information leaflets and guidance booklets are available from our publications page. Some documents are available in other languages, including Welsh, and are also available in hard copy from The Insolvency Service by request via our website or at any official receiver’s office. Many CAB offices and other voluntary sector providers may also have available many of our leaflets and booklets.
Leaflets and booklets on our website are available either in HTML, PDF or MP3 format and each publication has a unique reference number (URN) that should be quoted when placing an order for paper copies.
The Insolvency Service annual report is published as part of our Publication Scheme and is also available to purchase from The Office of Public Sector Information (OPSI).
