This search facility gives information relating to Bankruptcy Restriction Orders and Undertakings (BRO/U) obtained in the last 6 months.

The Bankruptcy Restrictions Order leaflet (PDF, 65 Kb) sets out full details of the types of restrictions which can be imposed on a bankrupt with a BRO/U. Under the restrictions for undischarged bankrupts, including those with a BRO or BRU, it is an offence to obtain credit of more than £500 without disclosing their bankruptcy.
