Open date: 11 Jun 2012

Closing date: 05 Aug 2012

OIML working groups aim to harmonise working standards for International Legal Metrology. This consultation is a review of OIML R100 Metal Pollutants in Water.

OIML has distributed the following Draft Recommendation for CIML online ballot and comment:

Revision of R 100 "Atomic absorption spectrometer systems for measuring metal pollutants in water".

The National Measurement Office welcome all comments on this draft to help formulate the United Kingdom’s view and decide how we should vote.

Below is document ‘r100 2dr info.pdf’ which details the numerous comments made by the UK on the previous draft and the positive responses to almost all of them. As this is at the CIML voting stage no technical changes will be allowed. If the document is technically unacceptable we should vote against it and give our reasons. Editorial changes can be made and such comments can accompany a ‘Yes’ vote.

Comments by 5 August 2012.
