Proposed amendment to OIML R35-1 measures of length

OIML working groups aim to harmonise working standards for International Legal Metrology. This consultation is a review of OIML R35-1 which deals with measures of length.

European industry have been soliciting changes to the temperature requirements of OIML R 35-1 which deals with measures of length. Members of OIML TC7 have been sent information about the proposed changes, which are available for download further down this page.

NMO, who hold the Secretariat of OIML TC7, welcome all views on the proposed changes to help formulate the United Kingdom’s position. Please comment by 17 August 2012.
