NMO CrestThe National Measurement Office (NMO) Enforcement Authority is an appointed market surveillance authority responsible for enforcing four European directives within the UK.

Transposed into UK law as statutory instruments the National Measurement Office Enforcement Authority are responsible for the following regulations:

  • Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS)
  • Batteries and Accumulators (Placing on the Market)
  • Energy Related Products (ERP)
  • Energy Labelling (ELF)
