Details

These guiding principles explain the government’s approach to implementing EU measures. They aim to maximise the UK’s influence in Brussels and end the ‘gold-plating’ of EU legislation in the UK. Gold-plating refers to government adding burdens to EU laws which impose extra costs and restrictions on business.
