A new Specification for pre-qualification criteria in the construction industry
With the support of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) the British Standards Institution (BSI) has developed a specification for pre-qualification criteria in the construction industry. The specification provides a logically structured protocol incorporating what is currently recognised by experts in the field as good practice in the provision of pre-qualification services This project has the potential to benefit tendering and purchasing processes of all kinds but will focus particularly on the ‘Construction Industries’ in the first instance.
