Archive of books, magazines and newspapers

The Manufacturing and Materials (MM) Unit, of the Department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS), publish the ‘Hot Issues’, newsletter on a bi-monthly basis. This archive contains some of our most recent editions and is regularly updated. Information contained within these publications relates to policies of the previous government and may now be not up to date.

The Hot Issues Newsletter was successfully re-launched in August 2009, after a two year break, and features topical news from BIS and explains the role that MM plays within BIS to promote the conditions for manufacturing success.

If you would like an electronic copy of an older edition that pre-dates this archive please access our search engine using the term ‘Hot Issues’, via our BIS publications search page or contact us. The current edition of Hot Issues may be viewed in full by selecting the link to the publication in our Related Documents section to the right of this text.
