Survey of Employment Tribunal Applications (SETA)
The aim of SETA is to provide information on the characteristics of claimants and employers and their experiences, outcomes and attitudes towards the Employment Tribunals system.
The periodic Survey of Employment Tribunal Applications (SETA) is a joint project between the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Acas, the Ministry of Justice and the Tribunals Service.
The report on the 2008 survey has been published on the BIS website and information from this survey will inform policy-makers and practitioners who work in the field of employment relations. The report will also aid public debate about the nature of dispute resolution in Britain.
Including the 2008 survey, there are five surveys in the SETA series dating back to 1987. Previous SETA publications were published in the Employment Relations Research Series.
