The Transition Management Board (TMB) works with business, central, regional and local Government to drive forward the implementation of Solutions for Business and business support simplification. It is responsible for leading the streamlining of government funded business support, reviewing and monitoring progress and ensuring the Programme is on track to deliver less than 100 schemes by 2010. |
Martin Temple is the independent of Chair of the Board. Among other positions he is also, currently Chair of the manufacturers’ organisation, EEF.
The majority of Board members are drawn from the public sector and act as representatives of their organisations.
Business Link Strategy Group
The Business Link Strategy Group is a sub-group of the TMB that will take strategic oversight of Business Link, providing challenge and working to drive forward performance to meet customer needs. The Group will also oversee the contribution of Business Link to the delivery of Solutions for Business. Membership is drawn from both Business Link users and operators and includes, FSB, BCC, IOD, EEF and the CBI.
