National Skills Academies
National Skills Academies are centres of excellence led by employers. Their purpose is to raise employer investment in skills and shape provision to meet the needs of employers in key sectors of the economy.
NSAs provide an opportunity for employers influence and invest in the development of skills provision which meets the needs of their sector. NSAs mostly operate as hubs of specialist resource and expertise and lead specialist networks of colleges and training providers. They match employers to provision and work with providers to develop their capacity and plug gaps in provision.
There are currently 19 National Skills Academies in various stages of development.
