A new university challenge
In March 2008, the Department published ‘A new University Challenge: Unlocking Britain’s Talent.’
This document:
- sets out evidence and case studies on how local higher education, delivered or supported by universities, unlocks the talents of people and drives economic regeneration, and identified key success factors from past projects
- describes the Government’s ambitions in developing this provision further
- outlines the Government’s plans to make the bidding process more open and transparent
