Catapult Centres

In October 2010 the Government announced investment of over £200m in a network of elite Catapult Centres to help commercialise the outputs of Britain’s world – class research base, bridging the gap between universities and businesses.

The centres are being established and overseen by the Technology Strategy Board (TSB). For more information see the TSB website.

Policy analysis leading to creation of the Catapult Centres, previously known as Technology & Innovation Centres (TICs), is set out in the Hauser Review (PDF, 145 Kb) .
