The UK space sector covers a multitude of disciplines from devising science missions and developing instruments to processing Earth observation information and creating software for space systems.   Therefore they employ people highly skilled in the fields of science, information technology, engineering and mathematics.   The majority of entrants are educated to degree standard, preferably in a relevant science subject, for example environmental science or physics.

The European Space Agency (ESA) may also be worth looking into. For more information about vacancies in both the technical and non-technical areas of the Agency and details of how to apply please visit the ESA website.
