ESA, the UK Space Agency and DLR (German Space Agency) are offering 16-18 year old students and educators the chance to take part in the 2013 Living Planet Symposium in Edinburgh.
Sign up to the School Lab and learn about the science and technology behind Earth Observation from experts in the field. The School Lab is part of the European Space Agency's largest scientific conference for the Earth Observation community which is being held this year at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
The 2 ½ hour sessions will give hands on experience with lab experiments and demonstrations. Participants will also have the opportunity to tour the exhibition and talk to the scientists attending this major science conference.
Sessions are available for up to 15 individuals and are suitable for S5, S6 and AS, A-Level* students, and educators (teachers, STEM ambassadors etc).
All students must be accompanied by a teacher. Up to two teachers can attend per school group.
*Includes content that complements the Geography, Environmental Science and Physics Higher and Advanced Higher, and the Geography, Environmental Studies and Physics A-level.
