The UK Civil Space Strategy (2008-2012 and beyond) was published on 14 February 2008. Space is of increasing importance in our everyday lives and offers growing opportunities in science and industry and in the development of skills and innovation. The strategy focuses on the evolving global space scene and sets down clear strategic aims and ambitious objectives to strengthen the UK's prominent position in a growing and important field.
