The UK Civil Space Strategy (2012 - 2016) was published on 10 July 2012. Space is of increasing importance in our everyday lives and offers growing opportunities in science and industry and in the development of skills and innovation. The strategy focuses on the evolving global space scene and sets down clear strategic aims and ambitious objectives to strengthen the UK's prominent position in a growing and important field.

This Corporate Plan sets out the way that the Agency will deliver on its space objectives in response to the overall objectives of the coalition government’s agenda. Developing and maintaining good policy advice to Ministers will remain a key role for the agency, alongside good programme management. In 2011/12, the Agency’s first year of operations, the successful management of our budget and programme objectives is a tribute to the efforts of all the Agency staff.
